Will There Be Bridgerton Season 4? Answered

The final four episodes of Briderton Season 3 have finally arrived on Netflix, and it certainly overwhelmed us with so many surprises. While we witnessed the brewing romance between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, we also saw the trouble the latter has been through in revealing her true identity to her love. Fortunately, the concluding moments of Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 show the central characters getting their happy endings. So, it’s no wonder everyone is curious whether the franchise will return with a new season or if it is the end of the road. So will Bridgerton have another season?

Bridgerton Season 4 Release Window

Bridgerton’s showrunner, Jess Brownell, revealed to theHollywood Reporterthat Season 4 of the beloved TV Show is already in production. So, yes, the fan-favorite series will be back with a fourth season, but the show isn’t returning anytime soon.

In the interview, Brownell stated that the script for the new season is almost completed, but it will not be on screens until 2026. Well, the time gap between the second and third seasons was two years, so it seems the creators decided to follow the same pattern.

Hinting towards the fourth season, Brownell said it would be her best work compared to the previous seasons. She also confirmed that the scripts for the upcoming season will be much better than what we had up until now. After Daphne, Francesca became the central character of the series. Besides her, Penelope and Colin also played lead roles in the third season, so now the fans are desperate to know who will play the central roles in the renewed season. While many fan theories suggest that it will be Eloise, several believe Benedict will get to play the lead Bridgerton.

Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 Does Justice to Penelope

Penelope has always been ill-treated by her sisters and sometimes her mother. That’s why she never saw herself worthy of anything, so when she began her writing career, she decided to keep it a secret. Moreover, when she first met Colin, she started getting attracted to him but never got the courage to take it further. So, when in Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1, Colin himself approached Pen, fans couldn’t believe their eyes, but they also knew that the road to this love story wouldn’t be that smooth.

However, the starting moments of Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 showed Colin taking Penelope to his residence and revealing the big news to his family. While every member of the Bridgerton family seemed happy, Eloise looked frustrated. Even though Pen tried to assure Eloise that she would tell Colin the truth, she couldn’t convince her former best friend.

The day when Pen was about to tell Colin that she was Lady Whistledown, Cressida Cowper took the credit for being the gossip writer. However, Colin discovers Pen’s secret identity in the sixth episode. Things indeed backfired towards Pen, but eventually, she gets what she always dreamt of. She marries Colin, and the duo gives birth to an adorable son.
