Xbox is heading back to theTokyo Game Shownext week, on September 26, to be precise. We already had confirmation weeks ago that Xbox and select partners would be appearing at the show, but today, Xbox released a special video from Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, as a reminder to tune in. It seems Phil really wants us to watch it.

“Konichiwa, it’s Phil Spencer here from Xbox and I’d like to invite players in Japan across Asia and around the world to tune in to the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2024 broadcast on Thursday the 26th of September at 7: 00 p.m. Japan Standard Time —we hope you enjoy the show.”

The entire event will be broadcast live on the officialTokyo Game Show YouTube channel, and the Xbox showcase will also be broadcast from official Xbox social channels, like itsown YouTube here. What can I expect to see at the Xbox Tokyo Games Showcase 2024?
Xbox Wirehas confirmed that content will be shared from Xbox Game Studios, Activision Blizzard, and Bethesda, as well as a line-up of third-party games primarily based in Japan and across Asia. Traditionally, we do see a few new game announcements. At TGS 2022 we got games like theNi No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch remasterand theDeathlooplaunch date, and in TGS 2023, we had reveals from Capcom forAce Attorney Trilogyas well as 7 newXbox Game Pass games. Traditionally, we get a mix of Asian titles, new trailers, and announcements for Western games. And hey, ifXbox were to get a Final Fantasy 16 portthis would be a great place to announce that!
