watchOS 11 Compatibility: All Supported Apple Watch Models
AlongsideiOS 18andmacOS 15, Apple announced the watchOS 11 update that will arrive for the Apple Watch later this year. The latest watchOS version also comes with Apple Intelligence features, customizable Activity Rings and Smart Stack, Training Load insights, summarized notifications, and more. Apple Watch Models Compatible with watchOS 11
Apple typically offersfive years of watchOS updatesto its existing Apple Watch models. Based on this, watchOS 11 will be available for the following models:
Apple has finally dropped support for Watch Series 4 which was released back in 2018. So, watchOS 10 will be the last major update to this Apple Watch model.
In addition to these Apple Watch models, you will also need to have an iPhone 11 running on iOS 18 to be able to update supported devices to the latest watchOS 11 version.
When Will My Apple Watch Receive watchOS 11 update?
Since watchOS 11 has already been announced, the latest update is already available for developers. Regular users can try out the public beta when it arrives in July.
If you’ve previously enrolled in watchOS beta, you can check if your device has got the watchOS 11 beta update by launching theWatchapp on your iPhone and navigating toGeneral>Software Update>Beta Updates>watchOS 11 Developer/Public Beta.
Apple will eventually release the stable version in late September or early October alongside iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS 15.
