Severance Season 2 will release on January 17, 2025, on Apple TV+.
The creators announced in April 2022 that Severance would return with Season 2, and since then, everyone has been anticipating the intriguing installment. Finally, after two years, we learned thatthe second season of the fantabulous psychological drama series will air on Apple TV on January 17, 2025. While fans are overwhelmed by the news, it’s also worth pointing out that the community is certainly disappointed that they’ll have to wait until next year to see the brilliance of the second season.
How Many Episodes Will Be There in Severance Season 2
Severance Season 2 will premiere its first episode on Apple TV + on January 17, 2025. The following episodes will then be released weekly until March 21, 2025. This meansthe new season of Severance will consist of 10 episodes, making it longer than the first season, which ran for 9 episodes.

Does Severance Season 2 Have a Trailer
Severance Season 2 received a teaser on July 10, 2024, allowing us to meet the original cast, including Adam Scott’s Mark. Besides him, we also get a glimpse of some other pivotal characters who’ll reunite in the second season to face all the complexities together. The first season laid the groundwork, and we saw how the creative minds generally work.

The creators haven’t yet revealed much about the second season, but Dan Erickson did give us some hints. He stated that the world-building in the second season will be more massive than in Season 1.
Moreover, the first season of the series ended on a cliffhanger, so we can expect the upcoming season to shed light on the unfinished events. The pilot season indeed deserves appreciation for laying the groundwork, but it mostly revolved around the main protagonist, and the supporting characters, along with the outside world, were sidelined.
Now, Erikson has assured us that Severence Season 2 will be better in every aspect, as it will see the picture from every supporting character’s perspective, and the outside world will get decent screen time, too.
The upcoming season will answer many questions that remained a mystery in the previous season.
