What Is Roblox the Mimic?

The Mimic is a spooky Roblox adventure set inJapan. It’s currently two different stories (for now) in one, each with its cast of characters (like separate books!). While the creators haven’t released everything yet, they’re planning at least four chilling chapters inspired by creepy Japanese legends.

If you have played horror games like P.T. or Until Dawn, Mimic is a little similar to those. In the horror aspect, it matches any scary experience. However, every story and book in Mimic is different, so your journey will be unique.

All stories or books in Mimic are based on Japanese history and urban legends. However, they all come with a slight twist you can find out after playing the game. Yuma and Netamo are theantagonistsof the Rebirth and Rage books, but the protagonists are still not confirmed. On the other hand, there are a handful of other characters that you can spot in the other game modes, such as The Witch Trials and Halloween Trials.

How to Play the Mimic in Roblox

You can browse the Roblox page and search for Mimic to start the game. Once you open the game, you mustselect the bookyou want to experience. As the stories are unique, you can select any of them. But one thing is for sure: no matter what you pick, you’ll have a scary time.

While The Mimic might not have a direct sequel planned just yet, fans eager for more can look forward to its exciting spin-off, Yōkai. Scheduled for release sometime in 2024, Yōkai takes inspiration from popular asymmetrical horror games like Dead by Daylight and Piggy. Prepare to be thrown into a thrilling fight for survival as you face off against a terrifying Yokai killer!
