Since Yveltal is aDark/FlyingPokemon, its resistances includeGhost, Psychic, Bug, Fighting, and Grass-type Pokemon. Hence, avoid bringing any Pokemon that belongs to that list.
Best Yveltal Counters in Pokemon GO
To counter a Yveltal during the Pokemon GO Raid, you must bring a few Pokemon that are best suited for fighting against them. As such, the best Yveltal counters are:
It would be best to consider bringing overGardevoir, Tyranitar, or Aerodactyleout of these six Pokemon. If you have the Mega variant, it is even better. Each of their attacks directly counters Yveltal, giving you a better winning chance against the Pokemon.
How to Get Yveltal in Pokemon GO
Like previous Mega raids, you cannot catch Yveltal directly from the Raid. Instead, defeating it in the Raid is the only way to get Yveltal in Pokemon GO. After you join a Mega Raid using aRaid Pass, try defeating the Pokemon. Since this is a 5-star Raid, you must enter it with other friends and players.
