The Oshi no Ko anime adapted the manga until The First Concert arc (40 chapters) for its debut run of 11 episodes. The first season ended in Jun 2023. This anime’s massive success also led to anOshi no Ko live-action adaptationbut fans were waiting patiently for the second season’s announcement.
Not anymore, as Oshi no Ko Season 2 was announced at the Anime Japan 2024 event today. The news arrived with anew teaser and key visualfeaturing some new characters and voice actors. In addition to this, the staff revealed that Oshi no Ko season 2 is scheduled to be released inJuly 2024.
Keep in mind that the manga is still ongoing. hence, we believe the production studio will adopt the same route as season 1 and probably adapt the following arcs:2.5D Stage Play arc (chapters 41-66)andPrivate arc (chapters 67-80)as11-12 episodesin Season 2.
