TheOnePlus 13 has now been fully unveiled, and while so far you can only buy it in China, that means we know just about everything about it.
Highlights include a gigantic battery, a top-end chipset, and more water resistance than most phones, but there’s plenty more here too.
Below then, you’ll find everything there is to know about the specs and features of the OnePlus 13, along with leaks and speculation regarding the global release date and price.
OnePlus 13 latest news and leaks
TheOnePlus 13 has now launched in China, revealing all of its specs.
Cut to the chase
A likely price increase
The OnePlus 13 was unveiled on October 31 at an event in China, but this event was just the Chinese launch of the phone, with a global launch probably happening in early 2025 based on past form.
Still, we know from the event that the OnePlus 13 starts at CNY 4,499 (roughly $630 / £490 / AU$960). For that you get a model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Of course, price conversions are rarely accurate, and indeed theOnePlus 12started at $799.99 / £849 (around AU$1,200), so you’ll probably be paying at least that much.
If anything, you might well be paying more, because the OnePlus 13 costs slightly more than its predecessor in China.

Oh, and don’t count on being able to buy it in Australia, because the current model isn’t available there.
A new design and more water resistance
Even ahead of the full Chinese unveiling,OnePlus showed the OnePlus 13 off in three different colors, as you can see below.
The phone will be available in White Dawn (white), Blue Moment (blue), and Obsidian Secret (black) shades, with the blue one apparently having a skin-like feel and the black one having an “ebony wood grain” textured finish.
The design of the back otherwise looks somewhat similar to the OnePlus 12, but the circular camera block doesn’t extend out to the edge here, and instead there’s a silver line running across the rear.
As for the front of the phone, it has tiny curves on all four edges, and a punch-hole camera at the top.
The OnePlus 13 also has both an IP68 and IP69 rating, making it more waterproof than most phones, and it comes in at either 162.9 x 76.5 x 8.9mm and 213g or162.9 x 76.5 x 8.5mm and 210g, depending on which color you choose.
That’s because you’re choosing more than just a color, with some having a glass back and others a silicone polymer (eco leather) one.
As for the screen, it has a 6.82-inch 1440 x 3168 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, andit’s useable when wearing gloves or when wet.
The company has also revealed that the OnePlus 13’s screen will be able to deliver different refresh rates in different sections, so for example static text could be at 10Hz while a video playing elsewhere on the screen could be 120Hz. This is something we haven’t seen from other Android phones, and it might allow for improved battery life.
Finally,in line with multiple OnePlus 13 leaks, we now know the phone has an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, which should work better than the optical one of its predecessor.
A mix of old and new cameras
Prior to launch, OnePlus itselfconfirmed that the OnePlus 13 has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide with a 120-degree field of view, and a 50MP telephoto snapper, complete with 3x optical zoom, an f/2.6 aperture, optical image stabilization, and a 1/1.95-inch sensor.
The company also said that the OnePlus 13 supports4Kand 60 frames per second video recording, with Dolby Vision, and it even shared camera samples, which you can see below.
In any case, that means the ultra-wide and telephoto camera are new, while the 50MP f/1.6 main one and the 32MP front-facing camera are the same as last year.
A top-end chipset and a huge battery
One area where the OnePlus 13 is a big upgrade on its predecessor is the chipset, as it uses the newSnapdragon 8 Elite, which is in hardly any phones yet.
That’s paired with a choice of 12GB, 16GB, or 24GB of RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage, though the top model may end up being a China-exclusive.
So there should be plenty of power here, but the battery is even more exciting, as the variousleaks that pointed to a massive 6,000mAh batterywere right.
The OnePlus 13 also charges quickly, at up to 100W wired and 50W wireless – though based on past form the US might get slightly lower 80W wired charging speeds.
Finally, the OnePlus 13 runsAndroid 15out of the box.
