One Piece Manga Goes on an Unexpected Three-Week Hiatus After Chapter 1111
Lately, One Piece manga fans have been relishing every chapter release, as they are revealing some long-running mysteries. However, in an unexpected turn of events, the One Piece manga is going on an extended hiatus.
The official manga release schedule for One Piece is out and is going on a three-week break after the eagerly awaited Chapter 1111 later this week. Keep reading to learn about the creator Eiichiro Oda’s break and find out how long we have to wait before the release of chapter 1112.
One Piece Chapter 1112 Delayed Until April Due to Oda’s Break
The climax of the Egghead arc is quickly becoming the most unpredictable ride we have ever been on in the One Piece world. Thearrival of all the Five Elderson the island wasn’t something we had expected, setting up a grand showdown between them and theStraw Hat Pirates.
The way things were left in chapter 1110 with Brogy and Dorry finally meeting up with Luffy in theGear 5 form, every fan is on their toes for the release of chapter 1111 coming later this weekend. The reason behind the break is currently unknown. But, right after Chapter 111’s release on March 25, 2024, we won’t be getting any new chapters for the next three weeks.
Furthermore, chapters 1112 and 1113 of the One Piece manga are scheduled to be released on April 22, 2024, and April 29, 2024, respectively. Sadly, Chapter 1114’s release will coincide with Weekly Shonen Jump’s Golden Week break, which runs through May 6, 2024. Consequently, we won’t be getting another chapter i.e. chapter 1114, after that week.
This is an unforeseen almost month-long break that fans didn’t expect at all. However, we do not know for sure if the break is related to Eiichiro Oda’s health issues. If so, we wish Sensei a speedy recovery.
In the meantime, we can keep enjoying the Egghead arc adaptation in the anime, which is on a roll right now as well.
