The latest news regarding season 2 is that the shooting officially began in July 2024, according to the official One Piece Netflix handle on X. Along with this, it is also confirmed that the showrunner for One Piece Live-Action’s first season, Steve Maeda, has chosen to solely serve as an executive producer for Season 2. Consequently, Joe Tracz, known for “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” hasstepped up to become a co-showrunner for season 2with Matt Owens.

One Piece Live-Action Season 2: New and Returning Cast

The Straw Hat Pirates and some of the other characters that appeared in the first season like Koby, Helmeppo, Buggy, and others will be returning for the second season.
