Netflix’s One Piece Season 2 Production Status
The latest news regarding season 2 is that the shooting officially began in July 2024, according to the official One Piece Netflix handle on X. Along with this, it is also confirmed that the showrunner for One Piece Live-Action’s first season, Steve Maeda, has chosen to solely serve as an executive producer for Season 2. Consequently, Joe Tracz, known for “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” hasstepped up to become a co-showrunner for season 2with Matt Owens.

As mentioned above, the shooting for One Piece Season 2 has kicked off. It tookaround 8 monthsto film the first season of One Piece live-action completely. So, in line with season 1, the filming for the sequel began in July 2024 and is expected to be wrapped up by February 2025.

One Piece Live-Action Season 2: New and Returning Cast
The Straw Hat Pirates and some of the other characters that appeared in the first season like Koby, Helmeppo, Buggy, and others will be returning for the second season. So, we can expect the return of the same adorable cast members, including Inaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar.
