Nothing Phone (2a) Gets a Sleek New Blue Color Exclusive to India

ThePhone (2a)has arguably been one of the successful products for Nothing since the firm’s inception. During the initial launch, the phone came in three colors — Black, White, and Milky White. For those yearning for something other than Black and White variants, Nothing has launched a new Blue color variant, which it says is “Designed for India”. Here’s everything you need to know.

It turns out the shade of blue used for this India-exclusivePhone (2a) variant is dark. The color seems to have a unique aspect. It shows a slightly lighter shade under sunlight, and a bit laid back on darker indoors.

All in all, it’s a cool addition to the Phone (2a)’s already popular White and Black color lineup. And we definitely see Nothing bringing more color variants of their future devices if this manages to sell well.

Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, previously claimed that the demand for the White colorway is off the roof. The thought that unique colorways could bring in sales could be the reason behind the introduction of a new color. We’re beginning to see stock outs of the white variants across the world. Our teams are working hard to get more made. Please allow for a few weeks for availability to normalize.— Carl Pei (@getpeid)March 28, 2024

For those unaware about the Nothing Phone (2a), the phone was launched a few months ago. It’s powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro, which Nothing co-developed with MediaTek.

The phone comes with dual read cameras, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 5,000 mAh battery capable of charging at 45W while retaining Nothing’s signature transparent design and Glyph interface.

The new colorway is available to purchase via Flipkart right now, and the pricing remains the same. What are your thoughts on the new Nothing Phone (2a) color? Let us know in the comments below.
