Hunter x Hunter Returns! Togashi Back at Work on the Beloved Manga

The Hunter x Hunter manga went on a hiatus again after receiving a new chapter more than a year ago. We are aware of the serious health problems Yoshihiro Togashi has been dealing with for a long time, and it has caused protracted hiatuses for the HxH manga. Togashi sensei today surprised fans with an important update regarding the Hunter x Hunter manga and its return.

TheSuccession Contest arcis currently ongoing in the manga, with chapter 400, titled Secrecy, being the last release back in 2022. After over a year, Togashi sensei finally gave us an update about the future of Hunter x Hunter manga. It is well known that he has a habit of sharing updates on his works on X (formerly Twitter) via his official account. You can catch a glimpse of a rough sketch along with sensei’s usual tease of the number of chapters under work. Togashi sensei seems to be drawing Chapter 405 at present, which means we can soon get up to five new chapters in the HxHx series. In the meantime, you can see theHunter x Hunter endingsthat our beloved sensei shared last year.

We are happy that one of the greatest manga is returning with new chapters, but as of now, we don’t have a confirmed release date. So, stay tuned for updates regarding the Hunter x Hunter manga and author Yoshihiro Togashi’s health.
