How to Unlock Sorcerer Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Dragon’s Dogma 2 has some of the best spell combat and the Sorcerer vocation features some of the most flashy offensive spells in the game. Sadly, players cannot play as a Sorcerer until they have unlocked it. At the start of the game, Dragon’s Dogma 2 only allows 4 vocations for players to pick and change in-game and these areFighter, Mage, Archer, and Thief. All theadvanced and hybrid vocationsare locked behind quests, including Sorcerer. To unlock the Sorcerer vocation, players must reach the city of Vernworth and talk to Klaus in the Vocation Guild. The Vocation Guild is right below the Inn in Vernworth, and you will find a passage near the Inn’s entrance. Look for the signboard of the Vocation Guild to easily find the guild.

Next, talk to Klaus and select the Change Vocation option. Here you will find the Sorcerer Vocation, but it will be unavailable to acquire. Exit the Change Vocation window and Klaus will tell you that the Sorcerer and Warrior vocations cannot be learned because there are no Archstaffs and two-handed weapons in the vocation guild.In-game Screenshots: Captured by Sanmay Chakrabarti

Now, head over to the Armorer and talk about the lack of weapons. The Armorer will send you on a quest to retrieve the weapons from Trevo Mine, which is a Goblin Lair. Head to Trevo Mine and enter the entrance.

On the first intersection, take the right path. It will lead into a big room with goblins and a chest. Defeat the goblins and continue forward to find a bridge and a path going down. Again, defeat all the zombies to reach the bottom. Here, look for a path on the right side and follow it.

Continue on the path until you find a chest. Open the chest to find the Archstaff Grievous Horns. Take the Archstaff back to Klaus and hand it over.
