How to Scan QR Codes on Snapchat
Snapchat is one of the few social media apps that lets you scan QR codes natively from the app. Using this feature, you scan other people’s QR codes or Snapcodes as the platform likes to call it, and add them to yourSnapchat friend’s list. Not only that, you can also get access to exclusive filters, lenses, and other content by scanning the Snapcodes. Sounds fun right? So in this short guide, we will show you how to scan QR codes on Snapchat.
Scan QR Codes using Snap Camera
You need to have the Snap camera tab open on Snapchat to scan QR codes on the app. Here is how it works.
Scan Snapchat Snapcode from Gallery
Snapchat allows you to scan locally saved Snapcode from your phone’s gallery. However, the feature was recently moved from settings to the Add friend section. Follow these steps to scan it on the Snapchat app.
The app will scan the Snapcode from the image, and open it directly. If it fails to do so, then it might not be able to read the Snapcode and you need to take a less blurry photo.
Using Snapcode is surely a fun way to get in touch with others and make new friends. And that’s not just me, but everyone who uses the app, as it is just so convenient to show your Snapcode instead of asking someone to look up your profile. But tell us about yourself. Do you share your Snapchat profile with others as a Snapcode? Also, if you have any issues related to this guide, then let us know in the comments below.
