First Look at One Piece Remake Anime Revealed with Staff Details
During Jump Festa last year, we got the surprise announcement ofThe One Piece Remakeby WIT Studio. This has been the dream announcement that the fans have yearned for all these years. Now, on One Piece Day 2024, a lot of new details along with new art, character designs, and production details for the brand-new anime were revealed. Here is everything that was showcased at Netflix’s THE ONE PIECE Remake Production BTS today.
The One Piece Remake Production Staff Revealed
As you know,WIT Studio is in charge of remaking the One Piece anime. Thus, renowned animators in industry and several new young staff members have onboarded the ship to craft the remake. Here are the production staff members of The One Piece remake:
Director Masashi Koizuka talked about his love for One Piece in an interview BTS, and said,“I knew that I love One Piece the most in this studio so I took this project because I didn’t want anyone else working on it. I will definitely create something interesting. Please look forward to it. Thank you.”
First Look at The One Piece Remake Anime
While we didn’t get any teaser or trailer as we hoped for the One Piece remake anime, an exclusive first look with new concept art was shared by the staff. Here is what WIT Studios has cooking:
Straw Hat Pirates Character Designs in The One Piece Remake
The first season of The One Piece Remake will adapt the Romance Dawn saga in its entierty. Hence, the character designs of our favorite Straw Hat Pirates, such as Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Usopp, were also revealedd today. The animators have perfectlyretained Oda’s art style, as you can see in the images below:
The One Piece Remake Anime Concept Art
It seems the remake isstill in the pre-production phaseas we weren’t presented with a teaser or trailer today. However, the production team still delighted the fans with marvelous concept art for various arcs and characters from the Romance Dawn saga (check outOne Piece arcs in order). That’s everything that the production team revealed about the eagerly-anticipated The One Piece Remake by WIT Sudio. While fans are a bit disappointed as we did not receive a trailer, lots of new details elevated the hype around the remake today.
