Dimensity 7050 Tested: Benchmarks and Specs
Nothing has launched theCMF Phone 1, featuring theDimensity 7300chipset, which rivals theRealme Narzo 70 Proequipped with the Dimensity 7050. Since both phones fall into the same price bracket, people are looking for Dimensity 7050 benchmarks and how its CPU and GPU perform. So in this guide, we’ve compiled benchmark numbers from Geekbench, AnTuTu, CPU Throttling test, and more.

Dimensity 7050: Geekbench 6 CPU
In our first Geekbench CPU test, the Dimensity 7050 on the Realme Narzo 70 Pro achieves a single-core score of 952 and a multi-core score of 2,380. It’s a year-old chipset, built on TSMC’s 6nm process node. The CPU performance puts the chipset into a lower-end segment. With older ARM CPU cores, and onlytwo Cortex-A78 cores clocked up to 2.6GHz, the CPU performance disappoints, especially in multi-threaded tasks.Geekbench CPU scoreDimensity 7050Single-core952Multi-core2,380
Dimensity 7050: AnTuTu Benchmark
In the AnTuTu test, the Dimensity 7050 chipset scores a total of 612,320 points, which is pretty decent. The CPU gets 182,641 points and the GPU only manages to achieve 116,443 points. In the AnTuTu Storage test, the Realme Narzo 70 Pro featuring a UFS 3.1 storage gets a respectable 69,585 points.BenchmarkScoreAnTuTu Score612,320CPU182,641GPU116,443Memory150,271UX162,965
Dimensity 7050: CPU Throttling Test
In a 15-minute CPU Throttling test, the Narzo 70 Pro (or the Realme P1) packing the Dimensity 7050 performed exceptionally well. There is simplyno throttlingon the CPU performance, even for a longer period.
Realme has included a large VC cooling system for heat dissipation, which helps in sustaining the performance and keeping the chipset cool. So, while the CPU performance is not top-notch, you are going to get consistent performance out of the phone.
Dimensity 7050: 3DMark Wild Life Stress Test
To test the Arm Mali-G68 MC4 GPU on the Dimensity 7050, we ran the 3DMark Wild Life Stress test. While the GPU offers great stability, the performance is again on the lower-end side. It gets the best loop score of 2,293 and the lowest loop score of 2,285. Even older competing chipsets in the same 3DMark test come close to the 3,000 mark, at least.TestScoreBest loop score2,293Lowest loop score2,285Stability99.6%
Dimensity 7050: AITuTu Benchmark
The MediaTek NPU 550 on the Dimensity 7050 SoC is decently powerful, delivering a score of 71,311 in the AITuTu benchmark test. Since it’s a year-old chip, the NPU is about30% less powerfulthan the current competition.
Dimensity 7050: 5G Speed Test
Coming to our final 5G speed test, MediaTek’s 5G modem on the Dimensity 7050 performed fairly well. It achieved a peak download speed of265 Mbpsand a peak upload speed of7.58 Mbpson Jio’s 5G network. MediaTek says the modem supports dual 5G SIM connectivity and VoNR as well.
Coming to the conclusion, the Dimensity 7050 is designed for budget phones, slightly on the lower-end side. Both the CPU and GPU are decidedly weak, compared to the current stack of mid-range chipsets. While the cooling system is incredible and the credit goes to Realme, if you are looking for a performant chipset, the Dimensity 7050 is not the one.
