Deadlock Matchmaking Hours: When Can You Play in Your Region?

Valve’s MOBA shooter Deadlock is in full swing but the invite-only playtest where it was restricted to certain timings in every region. So, even if you were excited to try out your new Haze build after a day full of work, chances were, you had only a few hours to enjoy the game. Luckily, the new patch update enabled Deadlock matchmaking hours to be open 24/7 globally.

When Can You Play Deadlock in Your Region?

Deadlock players can queue the game any time they want now. Earlier, the matchmaking was time-locked during theDeadlock playtest. This means there were designated timings for each region when you would be able to queue for a game. With the new changes, there is no waiting period for any gamer from any region. So, you can easily queue up the game afterinviting your friends.

Earlier, your local timings were shown on the game’s main menu (reference image below). Now that the matchmaking is open all the time, there are no labels to indicate matchmaking hours. You can simply enter the game and start a queue.

Deadlock matchmaking hours are now 24/7. However, this was not the case always. Here is how the old matchmaking hours worked in every region:

How to Change Deadlock Matchmaking Server

As the game is available in every region throughout the day, there is no need to change the region. Despite that, you might want to change the server to play with different region lobbies. In that case, you can change theDeadlock server region.

This will allow you to match with players from the selected region. Keep in mind that your ping will be bad when you are playing on different servers. To change the region, first, you must open your console by pressingF7on the keyboard. Now, type any of the following commands to switch your server to that region:
