2. Grianmhar
Grianmhar is aDragonforged weaponthat players can unlock post-game. Its specialty is itsweight and knockdown power, which are both really solid. The Magick stat is really high, which you will love as a Magick Archer. The only downside is that you must complete the game once to get this weapon. However, it is still the only Magick Archer weapon that deserves to be on the best weapons list. So keep the Grianmhar for when you finish Dragon’s Dogma 2.
3. Dragonswail Litany
While the Trickster is a unique vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2, their weapon choices are pretty mediocre. The only good weapon comes in the form of Dragonswail Litany. You can buy it from the Dragonforged at the Bay Wayside Shrine after completing the main game. Thankfully, the magick stats combined with its lightweight characteristics make it a solid weapon.
4. Anathema
For sorcerers in Dragon’s Dogma 2, the Anathema staff is a game-changer. This weapon packs a serious punch, boasting both a high magical attack and surprising physical damage. However, Anathema’s true power lies in its secret:Silence. Once it hits enemies, they cannot cast their spells. So, no more fearing those spellcasting enemies with the Anathema.
5. Spite
While you can go for the highly damaging Battahli Biters or Dowsing Spikes, the Spite is more than just raw damage. Spite applies18% poison damagewith every hit to your enemies. Once the poison starts its magic, your enemies will bleed faster than they blink. Spite is also easy to get and it weighs only 2kg. So if you prefer fairly lightweight weapons along with some sneaky damage, get this weapon in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
6. Dragon’s Rancor
None of the Archer’s bows get you anything special than already being a ranged weapon. That is why it is better to wait out and get the Dragon’s Rancor from the Dragonforged at theBay Wayside Shrine. Thankfully, you will just have to complete the main missions. It is a great weapon for ranged combat lovers as it comes with ahuge knockdown poweralong with great physical damage stats.
7. Necrotic Shriek
Despite being an early weapon, Necrotic Shriek is a great weapon for the Mage. It boasts a great magick stat even if you can purchase it from almost any city in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Along with its bonker stats, you get theSilencepower attached to it. Similar to Anathema, it will also stop enemies from casting spells. However, do note that this weapon is a big heftier than the other ones on our list.
8. Dragon’s Dogma
True to its namesake, Dragon’s Dogma is one of the ultimate Fighter weapons in the game. Boasting a massive stat and significantly light, Dragon’s Dogma is the weapon you should have. In case you are still quite far and want to wield an alternative, the Stalwart Sword is easier to get and comes with 280 strength. It is a good mid-game alternative to the Dragon’s Dogma sword.
9. Dragon’s Aegis
If you are a Fighter, having a shield along with your sword is a must, and what complements the Dragon’s Dogma more than the Dragon’s Aegis? This handy yet tough shield comes with304 knockdown power. Sadly, it is also a postgame weapon just like the Dragon’s Dogma. Alternatively, you can use the Daughter of the Evening. But once you do finish the game, get the Aegis along with the sword to finish the entire set.
10. Cinderspine
Cinderspine is a great weapon for the Warrior class. While the weapon is pretty heavy, lugging stuff around is already a part of Warrior’s lives. Cinderspine is quite easy to acquire from a certain location inMountain Base Cave. You also get magick damage along with a ton of strength in it. It also comes with a massive 323 knockdown power which pretty solid against big enemies. Keep in mind that Cinderspine has a fire element attached, so it will deal additional damage to enemies that fear the flames.
